New Mexico State University Combined Master’s Degree and Dietetic Internship Program

New Mexico State University is proud to present a very exciting combined master’s degree and dietetic internship opportunity which is a graduate-level practicum program including supervised practice with graduate coursework.

The purpose of this program is to provide interns with graduate education and supervised practice experiences in dietetics that will help them build skills, scientific attitudes and Knowledge of an entry-level registered dietitian nutritionist in cooperative extension service.

Moreover, interns will acquire other skills through a variety of experiences and activities like Health promotion & education intervention, recruiting, community health activities, menu planning, professional development, leadership activities, public policy, and research.

Internship Location:

The internship will take place in Las Cruces, NM.

Internship Duration:

This is a full-time internship that will run for 22 months.

Eligibility Requirements:

To successfully perform this role, you will need to have completed at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
