National Center for Health Research is on the lookout for bright, confident and organized individuals for amazing internship opportunities. Programs are available for those who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or are recent graduates.

By joining this exciting learning program, you can obtain a deep understanding of the Washington policy scene through hands-on experience in several possible areas consisting of government relations or public policy development, communications or media relations, and/or non-profit fundraising or development.

National Center for Health Research provides four kinds of internship experiences such as Janice Bilden cancer prevention internship, communications, and policy internship, research and policy internship, marketing internship. The projects, responsibilities, and compensation will vary depending on the internship chosen by you.

Founded in 1999 by Diana Zuckerman, National Center for Health Research is a non-profit organization located in Washington, D.C. This organization is focused on research that can improve the health of adults and children.

Internship Location:

This internship will secure a place in Washington, D.C.

Internship Duration:

The interested candidates are required to be available 24 hours a week for 3 months.

Eligibility Requirements:

The opportunities are open for those who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Recent graduates are also eligible. The ideal candidates must have at least one year of Capitol Hill experience working on health issues and also have an educational background that includes knowledge of public health.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
