Open positions are now available in the Wellness Workdays Dietetic Internship program. The student hired for the post will gain the relevant working knowledge of working in the company and learn new and innovative skills. The company at present is offering a unique distance education-based program that is completely designed to meet the needs and interests of the group that is inspiring and dynamic. The student selected for the program must be registered dietitians with a focus on health promotion, wellness, and disease prevention. The company provides both part-time and full-time positions to eligible students. The company allows applicants to complete the supervised practice requirements in the local settings using the preceptors and sites of choice.

The candidate selected for the program will be required to find qualified preceptors, and the duration of each of the programs offered by the company is different. The student is supposed to commit to the proper hours in order to complete the internship program. The applicant must be hard-working, brilliant, and innovative in nature. The company intends to provide the internship program in Boston, MA. The individual is supposed to complete every little task with great efficiency and limited time duration. The applicants are supposed to complete the assignment before the completion of the internship program. The student is required to work under the registered dietitian nutritionist.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying the nutrition problems and assessing the nutritional status.
  • Developing the diet plan and counseling the patients.
  • Promoting, assessing, enhancing and protecting the health of the general public in the community.
  • Operating the private consulting practices in order to provide the expertise the nutrition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Internship Eligibility

  • The minimum age of the student must be 18 years.
  • The applicant must be obtaining the degree from accredited college or university with the relevant major.
  • The student must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The individual must be brilliant, hard-working and resourceful.
  • The person must possess the knowledge of computer.
  • The applicant who is completing a DPP program from accredited by ACEND and the one receiving the DPD verification statement.
  • A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required.

Location

The company is providing distance learning education, but the program will be offered in Boston, MA that is situated in the United States.

Duration of Internship

The eligible student can commit 1000 hours, and then only the student can complete the internship program.
