What are you up to this summer? If you are planning to acquire some work experience in a professional setting, then this MIMS summer internship could be beyond your wildest dreams.
This full-time program will last four weeks at a wonderful location in Oakland, CA. The summer interns will be immersed in direct patient observation, and shadow mentors in the healthcare setting.
They will get the chance to interact with a broad spectrum of health professionals/staff, and attend daily skill and leadership development seminars. Additionally, the program will educate them about the prevention and management of health issues.
Mentoring in Medicine & Science is a not for profit organization that works for unprivileged students. The motive of this organization is to inspire and prepare students to become health care and science professionals through mentoring career exposure, and leadership development. The organization is based in Oakland, California. So far, it has impacted more than 3000 students through its programs.
Internship Location:
Oakland, CA will be the primary location.
Internship Duration:
This is a full-time, 4 weeks long program.
