City of Madison Paid AASPIRE Internship 2021

Resumes are being accepted for a wonderful summer program named AASPIRE Internship 2021 by the City of Madison. Affirmative Action Student Professionals in Residence Internship in short AASPIRE is a paid program with an 8 to 10-week duration.

As a participant of this program, you will experience what it is like to work in the government sector while exploring your area of interest. Apart from this, you will be asked to do various tasks in a professional environment with less pressure.

The program will train you for a full-time job by providing you soft skills, interviewing experience, and good connections. Moreover, you will be guided and mentored by City managers who will help you throughout your journey.

Current enrolment in a four-year bachelor’s degree program or two-year associate’s degree program is required to apply for this role. Recent graduates are also eligible.

The internship will be located in Madison, WI.

The length of this program is 8 to 10 weeks.

Eligibility Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree program or two-year associate’s degree program.
  • Those who have graduated since May of 2018 will also be considered if interested in applying for the AASPIRE internship program.
