Children‡s Healthcare of Atlanta or CHOA commonly referred to as Children‡s, is a not-for-profit healthcare system of children that is located in the Atlanta area and dedicated to caring for infants, young adults, children, and teens throughout Georgia. CHOA is formed in 1998 when Egleston Children‡s Health Care System and Scottish Rite Medical Center came together in becoming one of the largest pediatric systems in the United States. The organization in 2006 was assumed responsibility for the management of services at Hughes Spalding Children‡s Hospital growing the system of three hospitals.
