Throughout your intern journey here, you will work directly with staff attorneys to complete various investigative tasks, and meet with clients, and especially experience the thrill of representing clients in court.

Public Defender Service for District of Columbia provides legal defense to people. It is a federally funded, independent organization governed by an eleven-member Board of Trustees. The mission of this organization is to provide and promote quality legal representation to indigent adults and children facing a loss of liberty in the District of Columbia.
