Orange County Office on Aging’s Health Education Internship is a great learning opportunity for students who are planning to enter the health industry. The program aims to prepare interns to become leaders of the industry.
Once you selected for this internship, you will easily find here valuable hands-on training, mentoring, and real-world experience. Pursuing this internship will give you a deep knowledge of the health industry, make you familiar with the fast-paced office environment.
This role will serve you very well if you are enrolled in a graduate degree program in a college/university, and possess an interest in working with the older adult population.
Orange County Office on Aging has always been dedicated to making Orange County a safe, healthy, and fulfilling place to live, work, and play. It provides older adult services like information and assistance on programs and services available for older adults. It works on behalf of all older persons in Orange County.
Interns will work in Orange County, CA.
The program is unpaid however interns will receive lots of training, mentorship, and career development opportunities. They will work for improving the health of older people that will give them a sense of satisfaction. Moreover, they will get knowledge of the County government and the provision of social services.
Interns must meet the following criteria:
- Must be current graduate-level college students enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Public Health (MPH) or be a recent graduate from a master’s in public health program
- Must have interest in working with the older adult population
- Must have basic computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
