It is especially known for its signature products like Equa chair, Aeron chair, Noguchi table, Marshmallow sofa, and the Eames Lounge Chair. It was established in 1905 as the Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan by D. J. De Pree. Currently, it is providing its services across the world.

Internship Location:

Interns must be able to join the office in Holland, Michigan.

Internship Duration:

The program will run for 12 weeks.

Eligibility Requirements:

If your education and skills match from the following criteria, then you are the right one for this role:

  • Passionate, self-motivated, independent, and able to work with a small team
  • Interested in design and corporate archives
  • Experienced with and/or coursework in digitization (preferred)
  • Experienced with photography, social media, and Adobe creative software (a bonus)
  • Finished with one year of graduate study and/or one previous internship
  • Enrolled and pursuing a graduate degree in Library Science, Museum Studies, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Satisfactorily finished with the basic coursework in your chosen degree program
  • In favorable academic standing within your current academic program
  • Able to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
