If you are a tech student looking to get hands-on, skill-building experience at a well-known company, then this Frito Lay‡s Maintenance Mechanic Internship is for you. It is a part-time, paid program available at Frito Lay‡s office of Topeka.
The mission of Frito Lay behind this program is to prepare students for full-time employment with Frito Lay as a Maintenance Mechanic. The working hours of this position will be flexible, depending on the class schedule of interns.
Selected candidates will work side by side with experienced mechanics and obtain valuable experience in rebuilding, repairing, troubleshooting, fabricating, and building industrial equipment.

Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria first:
- Strong performance, attendance, and academic standing with a technical school program
- Willingness to work 16 to 24 hours per week and to commit to a semester-long program
- Must have at least 1 semester completed in the industrial maintenance or similar program
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
