Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Internship in New York

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung is now encouraging students of all nationalities specializing in international affairs, development and economic policy, to become a part of its extremely exciting Internship program based in New York.

The internship is offered for a duration of three months, starting in early January, mid-April and at the beginning of September. Responsibilities of this role include organizing events, assisting the office staff in performing the day-to-day business, and maintaining the public outreach of FES New York.

To be hired for this role, applicants must have obtained at least a bachelor‡s degree by the beginning of the internship. They should have a demonstrated interest in social and political issues and knowledge of web design and social media skills.

Internship Location:

Eligibility Requirements:

You must meet the given eligibility criteria in order to be considered:

  • Have obtained at least a bachelor‡s degree by the beginning of the internship
  • Have a demonstrated interest in social and political issues and knowledge of web design and social media skills.
  • Have fluency in English communication.

  • A resume;
  • A list of electronic outreach skills and examples;
  • A short essay (no longer than one page) in English, in which applicants explain where they see the strengths or the weaknesses of the UN as a global institution compared with other multilateral bodies.

The working language in the office and at the UN is English so all the interested applicants should submit all the documents in English.
