Volvo Group Summer CAD Internship 2021

Volvo Group is now sponsoring an extremely exciting CAD internship for bright students pursuing a degree in business and IT or related field. This summer program is about to begin on May 18th and will end on August 14th, 2021.

This intern will be placed in the Americas Division of Volvo Group real estate, and work for the Real Estate Greensboro site team. He/she will be responsible for managing, organizing and administrating all building and/or site information.

The program is the right way to learn about the duties of this role or how to work in this field. Besides learning, it will make you more marketable in the job market and help you launch a successful career.

Volvo Group is a multinational vehicle manufacturing company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It primarily productions, distributions, and sells trucks, buses and construction equipment. Apart from this, it also provides marine and industrial drive systems and financial services. This company was begun on 14 April 1927 in Hisingen, Gothenburg by Gustaf Larson and Assar Gabrielsson.

Internship Location:

Macungie, PA is the chief location for this role.

Internship Duration:

It will last 4 months, from May 18th through August 14th, 2021.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered, you have these qualifications and skills:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree related to business or information technology at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship​
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Summer Interns are required to work up to 40 hours or less per week
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of design management (DM), cad-management and drawing techniques regarding land, buildings, maps, and installations.
