DigitalOcean is currently encouraging talented and curious students to be a part of its accounting internship within its New York office. This is a summer, rotational program based in Ann Arbor, MI.
This accounting internship with DigitalOcean is a challenging role for which you must be highly analytical, organized and skilled at communication and problem-solving. It will provide interns with knowledge in all aspects of accounting.
For this post, your main responsibilities will include preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations and participating in accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the finance team and other departments.

Eligibility Requirements:
If you fulfill all the requirements, then you will be eligible for this role:
- Working towards a bachelor‡s degree in accounting
- Has a comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
- High energy level with the ability to take ownership and show initiative in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Experience working at a publicly-traded company
- A mix of public and private accounting
- Ability to quickly identify challenges, prioritize, analyze the root causes, seek to understand the rationale behind current processes and propose solutions while getting buy-in from key stakeholders.
