Aon has an immediate need for a forensic accounting intern for its New York-based office for summer. Students who have an accounting, finance or business background will be selected for this position.

As an Aon‡s forensic accounting intern, you will assist this team on a variety of projects and engagements like fraud and financial investigations, anti-money laundering assessments, and data analytic projects throughout your journey.

This summer course will give your knowledge on how to apply your skills into a real-life situation, how to handle challenging projects, and how to work as a forensic accounting intern. The experience that you will gain during this internship will definitely help you in the future.

Eligibility Requirements:

These are the requirements that must be met in order to be selected for this role:

  • Major coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field with the intention of CPA licensing
  • Prior experience with forensic accounting is a plus but is not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (knowledge and use of Microsoft SQL and Tableau is a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently, when necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment.
