WFP is now hiring talented, detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidates for its Social Media, Communications, Advocacy, and Marketing Internship program based in WFP‡s Headquarters in Rome, Italy. The event will be paid.

The Internship has a maximum of 8 months duration and is starting from January 2021. During the period of this internship, you will play a key role on WFP‡s global social media team and will support the community manager as well as the social media analyst and engage with WFP‡s audience across social media platforms.

WFP is commonly known as the World Food Program that is a leading humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

Internship Location:

Rome, Italy

Internship Duration:

The program will last for 8 months.

Internship Benefits:

A monthly stipend from WFP up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month

Eligibility Requirements:

The following eligibility requirements must be met in order to take part in this program.

  • Currently enrolled with at least two years of undergraduate studies completed, or recently graduated (within the past six months) in communication, journalism, marketing or related field;
  • University course attendance in the past 12 months;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Good English writing skills.
