The Program Manager Intern supports the Value Stream team on a large program platform and drives strategic planning. Successful candidates will support a variety of activities such as pursuit and proposal activities, management of portions of program execution, financial reporting, customer interaction/action item reporting, subcontract management support, material status, customer deliverable management, and risk and opportunity management ensuring customer satisfaction with Collins Aerospace.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Will assist in the coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning.
  • Helps coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Monitors and assesses program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Participates in engineering activities that further the success of overall program objectives.
  • Participates in the coordination, preparation, and maintenance of program plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging strong communication, teaming and results oriented skills.
  • Prior experience communicating across teams and platforms to successfully collaborate on projects/goals
  • Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  The ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
