Job Summary:
This position is for a software engineering intern with an opportunity to be mentored by Engineering leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the organization. Work on projects that impact the business, where you’ll gain real-life exposure to the dynamic environment of a high performing engineering team; from work planning to shippable code. Expand your knowledge, work on challenging problems, and share the results with the stakeholders during collaborative demos. Position Description / Responsibilities:

Assist with development of new functionality and maintain existing functionality with a keen sense for making things fast and efficient.
Participate directly in the complete software development lifecycle and perform all aspects of development from back end data stores to the front-end UI.
Help our internal and external customers solve tough problems. You will need to enjoy coming up with solutions rather than being told what to build.
Debug and optimize performance of a distributed application and it‡s supporting services.
Recommend new technologies and practices to support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other engineers to build smart internal tools to streamline platform development.
Critical Requirements:

Computer science or related major
Strong coding skills
Exposure to object-oriented languages (e.g. C#, Java)
Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures
Interest in Azure and Cloud technologies
Additional Requirements:

Our Base Pay Range for this position
