Global Customer Care provides award winning support, data, intelligence and advanced technology capabilities for customers, consumers, merchants, governments, fintechs and big technology companies.

The Content Writer (Intern) will work with Global Customer Care and CX Strategy & Design teams in creating assets and content across website content, video scripts, presentation material, social care and internal comms.

Responsible for partnering with internal creatives, designers, product owners, program owners, producers, managers, executives, and marketing teams to create visually compelling and effective content.

Internship Program

Role Description
As a Marketing Intern focused on in-house content writing, you will be responsible for:
– Working closely with Customer Experience, Engagement & Intelligence teams to create content in a range of formats and mediums, including experiential, digital, social and print
– Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of content and design across all mediums to best industry practice standards and Mastercard branding guidelines by ensuring all output is checked and errors minimized
– Overall responsibility for the production of marketing & communications material on time and to budget
– Presentation of creative concepts to Global Customer Care leadership and Operations & Technology teams
– Developing and deploying social media communication for internal and external audiences
– Developing content for HTML emails to tell a story with experience data in a consistent / automated fashion
– Content layout, resizing graphic elements and overall image manipulation and management
– Participate in on-going skill development and appropriate training to keep up to date with design and marketing industry knowledge
Qualifications
– Currently enrolled in a bachelor‡s or accelerated master‡s program graduating between Dec 2024 – June 2025
– Ideally getting a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
– Less than 1 year of professional work experience (not including internships).
– Professional experience in a corporation or an agency environment
– Experience creating still & motion content for integrated campaigns: Experiential, Digital, Social & Print
– Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
– A reasonable understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and data visualization tools
-Ability to facilitate and understand feedback from various stakeholders to improve the final deliverable(s)
-Highly organized with the ability to multi task, have effective time management, results and deadlines oriented
-Exceptionally high attention to detail, maintaining the integrity of the creative
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – the ability to work within a team environment to achieve required outcomes
-Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, while also functioning as part of a team
-Ability to cope with change, manage high attention to detail & multiple priorities
