Description:Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company is seeking a Summer 2024 intern. As a whole owned subsidiary you would have the opportunity to touch all aspects of the Finance & Business Operations department; including Accounting, Program Finance and Data Analytics. You will assist in the monthly close, analysis of revenue, preparation of journal entries and ad hoc data analytics projects.
A successful candidate will have proficiency working with Excel with understanding of its core functions including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Additionally they will have the ability to work with a geographically dispersed team relying on Microsoft Teams to collaborate asynchronously.
Basic Qualifications:
• Enrolled in Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related discipline from an accredited college/university
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Written and Verbal Communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Desired Skills:
• Basic knowledge of data analytics tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
• Extracurricular / leadership involvement

Ability to Work Remotely:Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
