Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2024 Global Internship Program as an Anatomical Pathology Intern in Madison, WI or Greenfield, IN!

About the Team: Anatomical Pathology (Post Life Services)

In this lab-based role within the Post Life Services department, you‡ll perform data documentation and work with animal samples and tissues daily.
Internship Assignment Summary:

Establish an understanding of basic lab practices, SOPs and study protocols in a multidisciplinary lab environment
Perform basic necropsy or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory guidelines
Adhere to animal health and welfare guidance in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance.
Attend training sessions to learn additional skills
Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence
Education/Qualifications/Skills:

Working towards degree in Biology, Animal Science, or related life sciences
Strong communication, both written and verbal
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team setting
