About the Team:

The Birmingham Labcorp team provides a broad range of testing and specimen processing for clients including collection, accessioning, distribution, testing and reporting.
 Internship Assignment Summary:

Learn end to end laboratory responsibilities for variety of job functions
Engage and employ your skills across 3 shifts and all departments
Familiarize yourself with current specimen handling and testing challenges
Engage in activities to improve current processes and present your findings
Education/Qualifications/Skills: 

Working towards bachelor‡s degree in biology, chemistry or laboratory medicine
Has experience managing multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
