Charles Stark Draper Laboratory’s Paid High School Internship Program

An exciting high school internship is being offered by the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. This internship will be a paid, six weeks long program targeting the high school students.

The program holds a purpose to find and prepare promising high school students for their future careers. The selected interns will work with mentor scientists and engineers on a research project under the supervision of seniors.

Interns working in this program will get a chance to apply their thoughts and skills to real-world problems. This program will act as a helping hand towards students to prepare them for a further professional career in the related field.

Draper Laboratory is an American not-for-profit research and development organization. The laboratory was found in 1932 by Charles Stark Draper and is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It works for the development of advanced technology solutions that helps in solving various problems related to national security, space exploration, health care, and energy.

Internship Location:

Interns will be working in Cambridge, MA, for this particular internship.

Internship Duration:

The internship will last for six weeks, starting from July 6 to August 14.

Eligibility Requirements:

Interested interns may review the below criteria to apply:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder
  • Must be of at least 16 years of age at the start of the internship.
  • Must be getting enrolled as a junior or senior year of high school
  • Must provide an unofficial high school transcript for Grade 9 to the most recent semester
  • Must include a copy of the letter of recommendation template from one instructor in a relevant science/engineering course.
  • An instructor must send the complete docx file to [email protected] with a subject word, including recommendation with your full name.
