Unlock the door of your dream career with this mind-blowing opportunity! The World Bank is now encouraging all qualified individuals, particularly women, with diverse professional and academic backgrounds to be a part of its four-week internship program.

This program is offered twice a year (summer and winter). It will take place at the World Bank headquarter in Washington, D.C. Selected candidates will be provided an hourly salary and, where applicable, an allowance toward travel expenses.

World Bank basically recruits interns for operations (front line) in various fields such as economics, finance, human development, social sciences, agriculture, environment, engineering, urban planning, corporate support, etc.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following eligibility criteria.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program (pursuing a master’s degree or Ph.D. with plans to return to school full-time). There is no age limit.

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of languages such as French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese is desirable. Other skills such as computing skills are advantageous.

Application Deadline:

The application period for the winter internship is December 1 to January 31 each year.
