Princeton University International Student Internship Program

Princeton University is now welcoming international undergraduate students from other educational institutions for its amazing internship during the summer months. It is 9 weeks long program, from June 10 to August 9.

This internship offers many opportunities for promising young scholars to work with Princeton faculty and to experience the unique research and scholarly environment on its campus. It will make available housing and meal plans at subsidized rates and will provide structured activities to interns.

To enhance the research and educational experience of interns, this program will also provide orientation, cultural events, and opportunities to share research experiences, mentoring sessions and seminars and social gatherings.

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates, who fulfill the following requirement, will be encouraged to send the application.

  • Internship applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduates at institutions outside of the United States and must be at least 18 years of age before the start of the internship.
  • International students must be able to meet the funding requirements for J-1 Student Intern visas, including covering costs of housing, healthcare, transportation, and visa.  Individuals need to submit official documentation of financial support before acceptance to the program.
  • ISIP participants will be required (by law) to purchase health insurance that provides adequate coverage.
