NPS Geoscientists-in-the-Parks Internship Program

With the collaboration of the Geological Society of America, National Park Service is now offering a great Geoscientists-in-the-Parks Internship program for undergraduate or graduate students, and recent graduates.

The primary aim of this program is to provide participants a unique opportunity to contribute towards the conservation of America’s national parks. This internship will last for three months and provide a stipend of $1,400 – $2,400 per month.

If you are seeking experience in the geosciences and other natural resource fields and are also keen to help the agency to better understand and manage its natural resources, then you should apply for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

  • US citizen or permanent legal resident.
  • You do not need to be a GSA member to apply, but GSA invites you to join GSA, or renew your membership.
