Internships in the Museum Profession, 2019–2020

NGA is now providing its wonderful internship program in the Museum Profession, 2019–2020. To be considered for this internship, candidates should be enrolled in a graduate program or are recent MA, MS, MFA, or MLS graduates (degree must have been received no earlier than 2018). Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is an international program. This is a paid internship program.

Graduate Curatorial Internships, 2019–2020

NGA has a great internship opportunity named as Graduate Curatorial Internships, 2019 – 2020. This is an international internship and opens for doctoral students who are in the advanced stage of their dissertations and to recent Ph.D. recipients (dissertations must have been filed no earlier than September 2017). Graduate curatorial internship at the National Gallery of Art will provide in-depth training for advanced Ph.D. students and recent Ph.D. recipients interested in gaining curatorial experience in a museum setting.

2019 Summer Internship

NGA is currently accepting resumes for its 2019 Summer Internship program. To qualify for this opportunity, candidates should be undergraduates and completing their degrees in May and June 2019, or currently enrolled graduate program of all levels and graduating in May or June 2019 with a relevant degree such as MA, MBA, MFA, MArch, MEd, JD, or MLS. This program is a paid internship program. This paid summer internship will provide opportunities to work on projects directed by a Gallery curator or department head.
