The ideal candidate must be able to assist effectively with website initiatives including implementing a robust search engine optimization strategy, updating museum‡s websites including amrevmuseum.org, and creating analytical reports.

Through this program, interns can develop a good knowledge of content management systems, Google Analytics, Google search console, SEO, UX, and responsive web design. They can also gain experience, and make a relationship or build skills before heading out for a full-time job.

Museum of the American Revolution is a private and non-profit museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It opened its gate to the public on April 19, 2017. It shares the story of American revaluation through its unmatched collection, immersive galleries, powerful theater experiences, and interactive elements. The museum has a wonderful collection of artwork, sculpture, textiles, and weapons, manuscripts and rare books.

Internship Location:

The internship will be held in Philadelphia, PA.

Internship Duration:

The program will last for 12 weeks, from May 24th through August 14th.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered your candidacy, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must be undergraduate and graduate students
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Preferred HTML, CSS
  • Preferred Photoshop experience
  • Must work collaboratively in a diverse work environment
