Cardinal Health Information Technology Internship – Summer 2021

Cardinal Health is now giving undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in its wonderful IT internship that will take place in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The IT position is a full-time program starting on May 18th and ending on 26th, 2021.

Selected interns will work on different valuable and meaningful business projects to gain the experience they need to build a solid foundation for their future. They will also have to participate in a formalized program which will help them to improve the knowledge of Cardinal Health and the healthcare industry.

All over, this program is a great platform where students can develop professionally by both working on projects and participating in day to day activities and can network with other professionals through both formal and informal networking events.

Cardinal Health was founded in 1971 by Robert D. Walter in Dublin, Ohio. It is an American multinational healthcare company providing pharmaceuticals and medical products to around 75% of hospitals in the United States.

Internship Location:

This internship will take place in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

Internship Duration:

This program requires working for 40 hours per week.

Eligibility Requirements:

Interns should fulfill the following requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor‡s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Expected graduation of winter 2021 or spring 2021, preferred
  • Recommended GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Relevant coursework and/or projects
  • Previous internship experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Established work ethic and ambition
  • Extensive community service and/or extracurricular activities
  • Process and results orientation
  • Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States with no requirement for future sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must be willing to work independently and make sound decisions expeditiously
  • Ability to work independently with a moderate level of direction
  • Ability to work with MS office products
