Denver Health Medical Career Collaborative Internship for High School Students

Denver Health‡s Medical Career Collaborative Internship is an initiative toward encouraging students to consider a career in the health care industry. This internship is a two-year-long learning program ready to take place in both Denver Health and Children‡s Hospital Colorado.

It is an ideal opportunity for current high school sophomores who attend school in Denver. This program will place interns in one department of their designated hospital where they will perform duties as assigned with hospital team members.

Moreover, MC² Interns will be offered the chance to participate in field trips, engage in service-learning/volunteering, and receive personal & professional development opportunities and post-secondary & career coaching.

Denver Health is a health care center in Denver, Colorado. It was opened as City Hospital in 1860 with the motive to serve the health care needs of the city. It is associated with the University of Colorado Denver, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. It is one of the primary teaching hospitals in Denver.

Internship Location:

Interns must be ready to work in Denver, Colorado.

It is a 2 year-long course.
