Our internship positions are for savvy, adaptable students interested in learning more about the Finance and Banking industry. We’re looking for students who want an opportunity to interact with all levels of management, rotate through business units and work on meaningful projects. Our interns learn how to enhance their communication and presentation skills, build consensus among different teams with competing priorities and how to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

An intern working with the ICFR team (internal control over financial reporting) will have the opportunity to learn about the key financial controls and processes of TIAA Bank by assisting in maintaining the RCM (Risk Control Matrix), doing input in the WDesk system (key controls system of record), and helping to set-up annual testing templates for walkthroughs and interim testing. While working with the ICFR team, he/she will learn about the FDICIA audit, meet with control owners, interact with bank operations leaders, attend meetings with the external audit team (PwC), and learn what financial statement line items are most significant to the Bank’s financial statement reporting.
