Job Description
Reuters, the world’s largest international multimedia news provider, is looking
for aspiring journalists for its 2020 summer internship program. We welcome
passionate, curious reporters who want to tell stories for a global audience.
Our paid internships are hands-on reporting positions covering business,
political and general news.

Internships last for 10 weeks and begin in early June 2020.
Most are in our New York and Washington bureaus, but opportunities may also
exist in Mexico City, Toronto, San Francisco and Chicago. Applicants must have
completed at least two years of university. Competitive candidates will have
some prior journalism experience, excellent writing and communication skills, a
background in journalism, economics, business, law, accounting or computer
science. They have ambitious journalistic goals and a hunger to develop
news-wire reporting skills to meet them. These include working on a tightly
knit team covering spot news, contributing collaboratively on deadline and
pitching enterprising story ideas.

Founded over 165 years ago, Reuters provides society with
the news it needs to be free, prosperous and informed. Each day, 2,500

from bias.

Reuters news is read and seen by billions of people
worldwide every day. Our stories reaches more than 750 broadcasters in 115
