Texas Health Fort Worth seeks to hire a Chaplain Intern to work a PRN position.

Salary range is Min. $11.00/hr to Max. $19.40/hr – based on relevant experience
PRN; Variable Day Shift
Under the supervision of ACPE-Certified Educator, provides spiritual support to THR’s patients and their loved ones, facilitating coping and medical decision making during hospitalization.
Contributes to the goals of Pastoral Care department by dependably and compassionately responding to emergent requests for professional spiritual support for patients, families, and THR clinical staff.
Navigates electronic medical record processes and documents completion of pastoral care consult requests according to established Pastoral Care processes
Serves as an opportunity for the employee to gain working knowledge of assigned area while contributing to THR’s vision and mission.
Participates in special projects and/or performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
In progress of Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Ph.D. in applicable field is required
Good presentation skills; good oral and written communication skills; dependable; team player; compassionate; self-initiator; ability to competently use or learn to use electronic tools and systems such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), CareConnect (EPIC) electronic medical record, Vocera, and SharePoint.
