Job: Consulting Intern-Business Valuation Litigation Group

Under direct supervision, a Consulting Intern performs routine assignments in support of the department which may include but not be limited to researching, preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses and written valuation reports. Will receive assignments that further their knowledge of the job function within a public accounting firm.
Under direct supervision, assists in the collection, synthesis and analysis of data obtained from clients, market research and internal sources.
Prepares, completes, and ensures the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses.
Performs economic and industry research.
Assists team members with various assignments to support due diligence, forensics or restructuring projects as needed.
Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Prioritizes and addresses requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner.
Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, work processes and financial performance (e.g., procedure optimization).
Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Assists co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.
Performs other services as assigned.
Skills, Education, and/or Experience Required:
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business field is required.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Prior experience or education related to business valuation, transaction advisory, litigation forensic experience, or related business valuation practices and tools.
Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Must have a desire to learn and be flexible.
Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.
Must have excellent communication skills in business and technical environments.
Must have the capability to professionally and appropriately communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
Must be computer literate with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
May be required to work overtime and weekends.
May be required to travel and work from different company and client locations.
