Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated ML Engineering Graduate Intern for an exciting opportunity to work for the Intel Design Engineering Computing Team! This team of Software Engineers – architects, develops, optimizes and manages enterprise quality and scalable cloud-native software tools, anomalies detection, capabilities and automation needed for effectively managing massive Intel EC Design computing environment and usages.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Possess good problem solving skills and the willingness to work in a dynamic and multi-functional team.
Experiment with various approaches to ensure high quality data fusion
Research Trends and create proof of concepts and prototypes new ideas, support strategic product enhancements to ensure product relevancy.
Present, report and publish related technical topics.
Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences, including higher management, sales and marketing team, internal and external customers.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must bepursuing a Master’s Degree or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any related fields (Statistics, Applied Math) and 3+ months experience in:
Scripting and programming skills with either Python, Rust or Java
DL, ML frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow
Model development and validation
Software life cycle, including documentation, Agile process, quality verification plan and release process
Software development for AI/M and data engineering domain
Deep learning approaches and models, recommendation systems

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
