Oculus Research is looking for an intern to help us to
invent technologies for interacting with augmented reality (AR) and virtual
reality (VR) devices. You will explore ways we can interact in AR/VR using data
streams coming from a variety of sensors, e.g. cameras, controllers, wearables.
Your research will involve the development and evaluation of novel interaction
techniques and/or input devices. You will work with world-leading collaborators
and mentors in the AR/VR, HCI, CV/ML fields.
The internship is twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long. We
have various start dates throughout the year.
and execute cutting-edge research to advance AR/VR interaction
technologies in one or more of the following areas: Research in advanced
devices, sensors, and algorithms for processing user input, Development of
advanced AR/VR user interfaces and interaction techniques, Development of
AR/VR interaction prototypes
with other researchers, engineers, and user experience researchers to prototype
hardware and software solutions, and run experiments to advance the
