POSITION SUMMARY

Year-round paid intern will report to the Senior Information Governance Specialist and is responsible for supporting the Company‡s records retention program, which reports to the Company‡s Compliance Team.  BorgWarner is looking for a dynamic, results driven individual who can work 20+ hours a week.

Key responsibilities

Receive/archive records received from other functions and/or businesses, verify content and catalog with accuracy
Respond daily to record retrieval requests and clerical duties, such as converting hard copy documents into database utilizing scanning methods
Support warehouse audit reviews, must be able to lift 25 pounds
Review and process monthly storage invoices
Assist in the annual records destruction process
Support on special projects as identified
Education / Experience

Undergraduate / Graduate full-time student attending an accredited university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Being organized and detail-oriented is a must
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have a strong work ethic
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is desired
