TMT Marketing Intern

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a strong internship candidate to join the marketing team for BCG‡s global Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. TMT Marketing interns will support a variety of projects including maintaining a pipeline of global TMT content in various stages of development, creating social media assets, and supporting global TMT events. Using creative software tools, individuals in this role will directly support and help maintain the practice area‡s social media channels while also creating event material. To measure and track marketing performance, TMT‡s marketing intern will help maintain our marketing analytics dashboards and report on performance metrics. TMT‡s marketing intern will also support TMT‡s global internal email communications.
The Global TMT marketing internship provides the opportunity to gain experience in global marketing and analytics and social media and work in the ever-evolving tech space at one of the leading management consulting firms. Interns will receive hands-on experience working with tech, media and telco leaders across the globe.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Maintaining a databases of marketing activities
Working with a CRM system to create and distribute communications
Learning new technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Figma and Adobe Photoshop to design and distribute communications
Reading complex material and drafting social media and email copy
Using LinkedIn as a messaging tool
Analyzing and illustrating data
Learning new software tools​​​​​

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Prior marketing-related work experience
Specific interest in pursuing marketing and marketing analytics roles
An interest in Technology and Telecommunication industries
Project management skills
An interest in creative design
Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
Some familiarity with event planning
Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality

YOU’LL WORK WITH

A team that is committed to working with the leading telecommunications and technology and meda companies to solve some of the world‡s biggest challenges. You will work with the Dallas-based Marketing Director and Senior Coordinator while supporting other team members located outside of the US.
