Georgia Aquarium has an exciting internship program for those looking forward to having a career in the hospitality industry. This is a four months-long program with spring and summer start dates.
The goal of the internship program is to support Georgia Aquarium departments and provide pre-professional, experiential learning opportunities for individuals.
Throughout the internship, all selected interns will learn the fundamentals of hospitality, interpretive methods, and guest experience while building their professional skills by participating in a variety of projects.
Basically this role has been developed to support staff, to develop an understanding of hospitality, educate guests of various ages and knowledge levels about Georgia Aquarium‡s living collection, and execute daily programming.

Internship Benefits:
Georgia Aquarium Hospitality Internship is unpaid. However, interns will receive various discounts around Georgia Aquarium including the gift shop, Café Aquaria, general admission tickets, and programs. Interns will also receive free admission for themselves and parking during their internship.
Eligibility Requirements:
All applicants are required to fulfill all the requirements
- Pursuing or completed a degree in hospitality, industrial design, psychology, political science, or a related field.
- Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, computer, and writing skills.
- Must be an independent worker or team player.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
