Are you a compassionate person who takes satisfaction in bettering the lives of others? If yes, then this Casa de Esperanza‡ Hands of Hope Internship might be the right opportunity for you.

Each year, this program hires talented recent college graduates and other young adults from across the United States for a one-year-long internship. Selected 25 interns are asked to live and work with some of society‡s most vulnerable children.

Throughout this program, you will be doing various duties like daily care of the children, household management, and the coordination of medical appointments and therapy sessions.

Ultimately, it is an opportunity to gain experience and cultivate some skills by serving children who are emotionally and behaviorally challenged, and often medically fragile.

Internship Location:

Interns will work in Houston, Texas.

Internship Duration:

Interns must be ready to commit for one year.

Eligibility Requirements:

Your background should look like:

  • At least 21 years old

  • Good general health, with a high energy level, and able to lift 35-40 pounds
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
