Help Blue Sky Studios in bringing memorable characters to life, and invent fantastic worlds by joining this story artist internship. This program will secure a place in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Throughout this internship, you will work on character development, provide editorial fixes, and sequence clean-ups and provide the assistant to team members in the story department on various tasks/activities.

The program is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for you to learn many tips and tricks from the top mentors of Blue Sky Studio while exploring all aspects of the company. It will allow you to apply the skill, knowledge in real-world situations and give the right taste of professional life in a short period of time.

Blue Sky Studios is an American computer animation company known for producing and distributing motion pictures. It was established on 22 February 1987 by Chris Wedge, Michael Ferraro, Eugene Troubetzkoy, David Brown, Carl Ludwig, and Alison Brown. It is owned by 20th Century Fox which is a division of Walt Disney Company. So far, it has produced 13 feature films.

Eligibility Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have the following credentials:

  • Pursuing BS or MS in animation, fine arts, computer science, computer visualization or related studies.
  • Open to current students whose graduations dates fall within: Winter 2021 – Spring 2022
  • Strong drawing skills that suggest character and action.
  • Demonstrated ability in storytelling.
  • Ability to take creative direction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong portfolio and/or reel demonstrating skills, scope and abilities is required
