Where the Chemistry Happens… 
BASF’s Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Program Summary:    

This program also offers undergraduate students the ability to apply their education and background to challenging assignments to build both technical and professional skills.

Commercial internship roles could work in: Product Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital tools, Communications, Market Analysis, Logistics and Supply Chain. Interns will participate in a 12-week internship working alongside a mentor to aid our field agronomic teams.    Your ability to be mobile is critical as assignment can be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S. including at our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and other applications that are specific to the intern assignment. Interns receive diversified training through on-the-job assignments while leveraging technical skills acquired in college.
All interns will be assessed throughout the summer for either a returning internship offer, or a full time offer for one of our Professional Development rotational program. Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You…

Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success:  

·        Undergraduate students majoring in Agronomy, Plant Science, Weed Science, entomology, molecular biology, or related discipline.

·        Graduation date must fall between December 2024 – August 2026

·        Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

·        Demonstrated previous leadership experience & academic achievement

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to design, conduct, troubleshoot experiments, run basic statistics and report results

·        Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

·        Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations

·        Must have a valid driver‡s license

·        Previous internship/co-op experience preferred
