KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for Enterprise Data Services.

Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of tasks related to the governance, management and maintenance of data, including but not limited to standards development, metadata management and reporting
Document data interfaces and data mappings; analyze and interpret data
Develop business and technical requirement documents
Support the Data Strategy & Operations leadership team in the overall operations of the data organization
Identify and implement cross-functional process improvement opportunities that support the organization
Assist project managers in creating effective and achievable project plans, management of the teams execution of project tasks and secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project stakeholders
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Processing, Information & Data Science, Information Management, Library Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
Experience working with data including data sourcing, data analysis and data integration
Experience in statistical analysis, working in an IT environment supporting projects and strong experience using Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) preferred
Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, organizational and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. Ability to build productive relationships with peers
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
