The Customer Service team is responsible for delivering the Arthrex Experience to our hospitals, ASC‡s, sales reps and more. Customer service is a fast-paced environment with many opportunities for growth and development in the areas of soft skills, reporting and analytics, excel, SAP, ESKER (Optical Recognition Software), International business and much more.
This internship will run from January 2024 – April 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Fort Myers, FL facility.
Main Objective:
To to learn Customer Service/Call Center operations based on our corporate goals: Fiscal responsibility – call center metrics, Operational Efficiency – policies and processes, Quality Standards – Arthrex Experience, Training, Policies and Procedures. This will be achieved by learning about daily workflows, servicing technologies and strategies, and reporting/analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Call Center Performance Reporting.
Assist supervisors with daily call center call routing and management.
Backorder reporting.
Create process flows and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
Learn workforce management and reporting.
ESKER Management.
This is an in-office position located in Fort Myers, FL; it is not a remote position.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree required, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management. A college junior or senior preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Customer service and/or data analytics experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Lucidchart; Fax; Scanner.
