Responsibilities
What You‡ll Do:
You will apply your knowledge of software development to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications. Working within a highly successful product development team within an agile, iterative process, you will support, debug, and provide solutions, engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches to address the challenges in a time-sensitive fashion.
This role is for you if you love solving enterprise-grade cloud services problems. You must be a firm believer in solving sophisticated problems by writing code. We have product code in all possible layers of complex multi-tier distributed environments.
What You‡ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)
To be considered for a Software Engineer position in the Oracle Analytics Cloud organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor‡s, Master‡s, or PhD degree program in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2023-2024 school year.
Must be enrolled in a university prior to and following internship completion.
Have completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2024.
Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2024.
Are proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in Java ANDAre proficient in at least one of these additional programming languages: C, C++, JavaScript, Python, SQL
Have completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in two or more of the following technical areas:
Algorithms and Data Structure
Databases
Computer Systems
Computer Operations
Linux / UNIX
Machine Learning
Operating Systems
User Interface Design
Have completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience working with the relevant technical areas noted above.

- Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $38.32 per hour; from $39,500 to $79,700 per annum.
- Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle‡s differing products, industries and lines of business.
- Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
