Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2024 Industrial Engineering Intern for a position in Camden, AR.
Come join Lockheed Martin, Missiles Fire and Control in Camden, AR for a Summer Industrial Engineer Internship.
Camden Operations is a manufacturing facility occupying over 2000 acres and 2 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space building rockets, missiles, canisters, ground vehicles, as well as housing a state of the art machining center. The facility currently has over 1000 employees.
Candidate must be pursuing a 4 year engineering degree from an accredited college or university. Candidate must be able to apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields as well as support continuous improvement activities.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work
effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, Work
Measurements and Time Standards,
Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
Desired skills
- Good communication skills, problem solver, ability to benchmark up-and-coming technologies, knowledge of lean principles.

Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $20,904 – $67,288. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
