Job Summary:

Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. We‡re looking for students with an engineer‡s curiosity, an explorer‡s heart, and a perfectionist‡s grit to help us build the future of aerospace. Finance and Business interns will work closely with their team to deliver real results in the areas of accounting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will work closely with a Finance team to deliver real results in the areas of accounting, financial planning, or finance systems.
  • Interns will work on day-to-day financial tasks as well as ad hoc projects assigned by the department.
  • Interns may also have the opportunity to support a next generation financial planning system upgrade project.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program in in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related majors.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)
  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship.
  • You are graduating between Fall 2024, or later.
  • You have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications: ​

  • Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Natural curiosity in finance systems and how they work.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee‡s personal responsibility.
