WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 
This is a great opportunity if you have a passion for legislation policy and sustainability issues. We need you to be a self-starter, comfortable with working in some degree of ambiguity. You should also be able to collaborate with multiple teams at varying levels of the company and willing to listen to and incorporate different views into account.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE: 
The GPA Global Sustainability Graduate Intern will report to the Director, Global Sustainability Policy, and interface with a wide variety of teammates across functions in GPA, Legal and the broader sustainability teams. The role will focus on researching and landscaping emerging policy areas in the sustainability space within key geographies or regions with a final goal of laying out the impacts and next steps for proactive actions. As a GPA Global Sustainability Graduate Intern, you will:

  • Collect and assess data via collect and assess data from multiple sources and database platforms
  • Engage with internal sustainability subject matter experts for creating public policy roadmaps that
  • support business goals Support key elements of the GPA sustainability strategy via deep landscape
  • policy assessments that enable future sustainability policy workstreams
  • Keep workstreams on track and share progress on weekly basis.
  • You will participate in the broader NIKE, Inc. internship program, which enables networking opportunities and broader exposure to other aspects of NIKE as a company.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 
    Qualifications: 
  • Enrolled in a MBA program with an expected graduation date of December 2024 or Spring 2025
  • Demonstrated coursework in international affairs, sustainability policy, political science, law or a related field.
  • 3-5 years work experience strongly preferred
  • Cover Letter required
    Skills: 
  • Experience in the use of tools such as Microsoft Office and Airtable
  • Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data sets
  • Ability to manage, problem solve and prioritize against multiple priorities
  • Ability to deliver high quality work with exceptional attention to detail
