The CONMED Orthopedics commercial business unit develops innovative procedural solutions for Hip, Knee, Shoulder, and Extremities surgeons. Our products help athletes return to their sport and patients return to active, healthy lives.
As a Marketing Intern on the Orthopedics BioInductive Technologies Team, the fastest-growing product portfolio at ConMed. In this role, you will develop skills in product management with a focus on market analysis, new product development, collateral generation, product positioning, and competitive research. Your problem-solving, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, sales, and finance will directly contribute to the team‡s 2024 strategic goals.

Intern Responsibilities May Include:
Work with surgeons and cross-functional teams to create surgeon requirements and Voice of Customer (VOC) documentation
Enhance surgeon lead generation program and increase its effectiveness
Discover effective marketing promotional channels, including DTC campaigns, paid digital advertisement and social media
Creation of sales support tools and training materials
Competitive intelligence and market data analysis
Creation of innovative marketing campaigns with robust data and present recommendations to leadership

Position Requirements:
Pursuing completion of a bachelors or master‡s degree in a related field, such as marketing, engineering, communications, business, healthcare administration, or health sciences
Must be available to work onsite out of the Largo, FL facility ( 11311 Concept Blvd, Largo, FL 33773) Monday – Friday throughout the summer internship program (May – July, 2024)
Must be available to work forty hours per week, Monday – Friday, May 20 – July 26, 2024.
Must be fully vaccinated and proof of a COVID-19 vaccine before your start date
Ability to meet with customers at hospitals and to be a member of a credentialing agency
Expected travel 0-20%
This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00 to $31.00. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED‡s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
