The regulatory affairs department is responsible for the registration of products globally for our five business units. We have multiple locations in the U.S. that handle global registrations, as well as projects and compliance initiatives.
As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will learn the product development process through a regulatory perspective and the requirements of the various countries worldwide in order to get products into their markets. You will be review elements of risk management, design control documents and scientific testing that support a registration. You will also gain access to design team dynamics, requirements and deliverables through shadowing; thereby allowing you to draw on your scientific or technical background to make regulatory assessments. Valuable analytical and critical thinking skills will be honed during your time with the regulatory group.
Intern Responsibilities:
Support the regulatory affairs team in the review of design documentation
Research device product specifications and regulatory requirements for domestic launches
Review international and domestic requirements for product launches in R&D pipeline
Assist in collecting data, information and reports needed for the completion of product registration
Creation and completion of applications for international registrations

Position Requirements:
Pursuing completion of a bachelors or master‡s degree in a related field, such as Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or Health Sciences
Must be available to work onsite out of the Denver, CO facility, Monday – Friday throughout the summer internship program (May 20 – July 26, 2024)
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe preferred
Expected travel 0-20%

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate range for this position is $19.00 to $31.00. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The hourly pay rate range is CONMED‡s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
