The PSEMC internship program provides an opportunity to work on real projects with real impact on space exploration, homeland security and the nation‡s defense.
1. Creating new Test Fixtures to support Shock and Vibration testing
2. Assist with Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA) for new equipment purchases
3. General Test Engineering support
4. Assist Test Techs with complex explosive testing.
5. Collaborate with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or system malfunctions, equipment problems, incomplete test data, and/or data interpretation.
6. Assist Test Engineering with Python data tool.
7. Create Xray fixtures using Solid Works.
8. Interface with sub-contractor representatives to ensure that PSEMC requirements and schedules are met
9. Supporting proposal generation
10. Supporting production kick off and close out
Education Required:
Working on BS in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Experience:
SolidWorks
Python
MS Office Suite
Oscilloscopes, DMM, Function Generator, and Pressure Sensors
Basic electronic skills (Ohm‡s Law)
Mechanically Inclined
Physical Requirements:
